It is with great excitement that Miller Properties announces that one of its own will be leading the 2011 GPAAR Legislative/Realtor Political Action Committee as their Chairwoman. Becky Miller graciously accepted the nomination and is looking forward to a productive year. RPAC works with local, state, and national representatives to make sure the concerns of Realtors and Homeowners are heard. The most important issue facing the residential real estate industry right now is the possible termination of the mortgage interest deduction. In an already soft housing market, this could be catastrophic. This interest deduction is a deciding factor for many people who are deciding between buying and renting.
